Activists of different nationalist parties of Sindh demand International Human rights Commission to send fact-finding missions

Dadu: A number of activists of nationalist parties staged demonstration outside local press club and observed hunger strike on Friday against enforced disappearance of nationalist parties’ activists across Sindh.
The protesters carried pictures of missing persons, chanted slogans ‘stop enforced disappearance’ and demanded safe recovery of missing persons.
Speaking on this occasion, Inaam Sindhi, Dr. Nazeer Khokhar, Sajid Ayub Kandhro and other activists said that illegal confinement of people and enforced disappearance without committing any sin is violation of human rights.
They said that from various parts of Sindh province nationalist parties’ activists were picked up by plain cloths men but till yet they were not produce in any court. They said that family members of missing persons are seeking their safe recovery but till yet no activist was recovered.
They added that dead bodies of missing persons are thrown on roads or sometime activists were thrown after mental and physical torture but the police and other concerned authorities of Sindh have kept mum over the issue.
They told that although Supreme Court and High Court have given verdict in enforced disappearance cases but owing to weakness of State no one is ready to implement court order of recovering the missing persons safely.
They demanded International Human Rights Commission to take serious notice against forced disappearance across Sindh and send fact-finding teams to help stop human rights violations.
