Hindu Community holds rituals for Syed Ali Mardan Shah at temple

Umerkot: The Hindu community of Umerkot organized rituals at Kali Maata temple here on Monday to pray for the eternal peace to the soul of MPA and PPP leader Syed Ali Mardan Shah who passed away on Sunday.

On this occasion, Mewa Ram Pramar, chairman, Youth of Umerkot, said that Syed Ali Mardan Shah will always be remembered, as he had been working all his life for downtrodden people of this district.

Bhart Bansi Malhi, President of the Youth also paid tribute to the departed soul and eulogized his services for maintaining interfaith harmony in the area.

Social activists Mahboob Kunbhar said that the people of Umerkot will miss Syed Ali Mardan Shah who was great supporter of the poor.

Khenpal Sharma, Ravi Manvani, Sanjay Bhojani, Deepak Malhi, Aslam Butto and others attended the rituals and showered rose petals at the photo of Syed Ali Mardan Shah.
