Mithi: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), district Tharparkar chapter took out a rally and staged demonstration in Mithi town on Friday to protest against inflation and unemployment in the country.
Mir Muhammad Buledi, Chief of JI Tharparkar, Abdul Basit Charo, Nawaz Junejo and other leaders led the rally which passed through different roads of town and ended at Kashmir Chowk.
Addressing the rally, the JI leaders criticized the government for its failed policies and said that sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities have made the life of poor miserable. Similarly, the government, instead of providing jobs to the unemployed people, has rendered hundreds of thousands people jobless.
“The price-hike and unemployment have multiplied the problems of masses,” the JI leaders said. ”Now the load shedding of electricity, the closure of gas supply has also added to the hardships faced by people, but the rulers continue raising hollow slogans of bringing change in the country,” they lamented.
The JI leaders said masses would no more tolerate the incapable government of Imran Khan.
