As a global citizen, I wish that justice must be dispensed to the family, as the incident is a marked race-related; gone are those days of slavery and white supremacy.

The world has lurched from one crisis to another due to Covid-19. The recent crisis in which America is entangled is murderer of George Floyd, an African-American man in Minneapolis, Minnesota who was ghastly and callously murdered on May 25, 2020 by Police Officers. The victim pleaded for fourteen times that he couldn’t breathe, but Police Officer kept his knee on his neck, till he fell unconscious, consequently, breathed his last in Hospital.

This is too much to take by America. The most states have convulsed by nationwide protests over the death of an African-American man in police custody.

The petty event that led to Mr. Floyd’s death began with a report of a fake $20 (£16.20) bill, when Mr. Floyd bought a pack of cigarettes from a grocery store.

As a global citizen, I wish that justice must be dispensed to the family, as the incident is a marked race-related; gone are those days of slavery and white supremacy. What is very interesting to note is white people have registered their protests along with other communities across America for bringing Police Officers to book.
