Land Reservation Committee, which met with CS Mumtaz Shah in the chair, approved 54 acres for campus and 100 acres for Girls’ Cadet College Larkana project
Karachi: The Land Reservation Committee (LRC), which met here Thursday with Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah in the chair, approved 54 acres of land for Agriculture University Umerkot Campus.
The committee also approved government land in different parts of the province for various other public sector projects.
The LRC approved reservation of 1 acre of land for setting up of Trauma Center at Amiri on Indus Highway; 100 acres of land for Girls Cadet College in Larkana and land for setting up an office of Sindh Coastal Development Authority at Makli while 4 acres land for graveyard in West District of Karachi.
Chief Secretary directed Revenue Department to put up the file for setting up high security prison in Thatta and Cadet College Badin in next meeting.
He further stated that the formal approval of land reservation will be given by the Chief Minister Sindh.
Mumtaz Ali Shah further stated that after the campus of NED University in Thar, the campus of Agricultural University is also being established.
A trauma center is being set up on the Indus Highway to save precious human lives, he said.
The meeting was attended by the Senior Member Board of Revenue, Commissioner Karachi, relevant secretaries while divisional Commissioners and deputy commissioners have attended the meeting via video link. (PR)
