DC Ghotki performs ground-breaking of Center at Taluka Hospital

Ubauro: The state-of-the-art Mother and Child Healthcare Center is being built at Taluka Hospital Ubauro with the financial assistance of Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDC) with an estimated cost of over Rs.220 million.
Deputy Commissioner, Ghotki District Retired Lt. Muhammad Khalid Saleem, accompanied by Field Manager OGDC Abdul Waheed, performed the ground-breaking and laid the foundation stone of MCH Center at a ceremony at the Taluka Hospital on Friday.
Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner said the MCH Center would be equipped with most modern technology to provide the women and children with healthcare facilities including operations, deliveries etc.
OGDC official Abdul Waheed said it was top priority of his company to establish healthcare facilities for the people of Ghotki district. “The project was delayed for certain reasons but now it would be executed on emergency basis,” he told.
Earlier, Medical Superintendent, Taluka Hospital, Mumtaz Hussain Dahar welcomed the guests.
