Sindh Chief Secretary issues directives for expediting the process of applications pending under deceased job quota.

Sindh government on Thursday approved 326 more jobs under the deceased employees’ quota. The jobs were approved in 20 provincial departments.
The approved jobs include 44 in Health Department, 15 in Agriculture, supply & price, 14 in Board of Revenue, 6 in College Education, 1 in Culture Tourism, 87 in School Education, 6 in Industries & commerce, 1 in Information, 29 in Irrigation Department, 72 in Local Government Department, 22 in Works & Services, 12 in Livestock & fisheries, 2 in SGA&CD, 2 in Public Health Engineering, 4 in Forest & wildlife, 4 in Excise & Taxation, I in Law, 2 in Department of Empowerment of Person with disabilities(DEPD), and 1 in Auqaf and Religious Affair Department.
Chief Secretary Sindh Dr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput, who presided over the meeting to consider the deceased quota cases and review the implementation of earlier approved cases, said that 8739 jobs have been provided in various departments of Sindh during the last 4 years.
Chief Secretary directed secretary law to submit a report regarding deceased quota policy and also directed the administrative secretaries of different departments to expedite the process all applications for jobs under the deceased quota.
He also directed Secretary I&C to seek report from all Deputy Commissioners regarding District Recruitment Committees’ (DRCs) meetings.
Secretary Services Mohammad Saleem Rajput, Secretary Information Abdul Rashid Solangi, Secretary Colleges Khalid Haider Shah, Secretary School Education Ghulam Akbar Leghari, Secretary Law Ali Ahmad Baloch, Secretary Health Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Secretary Food Raja Khurram Shehzad and all other relevant secretaries attended the meeting.
