Six new coronavirus cases surface in Tharparkar


Now total number of COVID-19 positive in desert district is 17

One among new patients is inmate of Mithi jail lodged since 3-months and has no travel history

Mithi: Six new cases of coronavirus have surfaced in Tharparkar district raising the total number of patients to seventeen.

The new positive cases were reported as under – one from Islamkot, two from Nagarparkar, one each from Mithi, Chhachhro and Dahli.

The patients were identified as Ali Hassan son of Burhan of village Odani, Dewan son of Molu of village Aaho, Taluka Mithi, 28-year Kastoorchand son of Veram of Nagarparkar, 60-year Hussain of village Kheme jo Par, Taluka Dahli, 38-year Dileep Kumar son of Odho Das of Taluka Nagarparkar and 62-year Loongo son of Gango of village Wadhrrae, Taluka Islamkot, who is a prisoner of Mithi jail, and is lodged there since three months and has no travel history, but even then he has been infected by virus.

The surfacing of new coronavirus cases has created panic among the people.
