Sindh Chief Secretary Mumtaz Shah joins Special Children to share their happy moments
Karachi: Sindh Chief Secretary Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah joined the Special Children at Spring Festival celebrations organized by provincial department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities at Education and Rehabilitation Center of Special Children at Gulstan-e-Johar Karachi on Wednesday.
Addressing the ceremony, Mumtaz Shah said it is matter of great honor for him to celebrate spring festival with special children.
Appreciating the performances of kids at the festival, Chief Secretary said such kind of activities would help enhance the abilities of special children.
“I must applaud the teachers who trained the special kids to perform well. I am sure these teachers would strengthen the Department more with their sincere efforts,” he said.
The Special Children presented tableaus, actively participated in kite-flying and other programs.
Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Pervez Seehar vowed to promote extracurricular activities at such centers.
A large number of Special Children from other schools and their parents participated in Spring Festival. (PR)
