SSP lauds volunteerism of Tharparkar youths, distributes appreciation certificates

Mithi: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Abdullah Yar has lauded the youths of Tharparkar District for actively taking part in social activities and said that their spirit of volunteerism would prove to a motivating force for others.

Speaking at a meeting of youths of the district, convened by him at his office on Wednesday, SSP said he wanted to acclaim the volunteer services of youths in the field of education and other social sectors. “We all owe recognition of the social services of youth and would like to join hands with them so that we can reform the society and establish a healthy environment,” he said.

SSP Abdullah Yar urged the youths to launch awareness drive against the increasing unfortunate trend of committing suicide in Tharparkar. “The police team would work together with the volunteers in this regard.”

On this occasion, SSP Abdullah Yar gave away certificates of appreciation to Anwar Sahar, Mahpal Sharma, Karim Bux, Pardeep Veerjiani, Rajesh Dilpat, Gulshan Sharma, Lokamal, Jawahar Lal and other youths.

The male and female social workers attended the meeting.
