Enrique Antonio Sánchez Liranzo was born on July 15, 1958, in the city of Santo Domingo, Capital of the Dominican Republic. He is a lawyer, poet, essayist, narrator and film appreciation technician. He has published works of poetry: Verses of springs (1991), Garden of Love (1993), Poems with the sea (1993), Primavera 88, Poemario (1997) and Poems for peace (2010). His poetry has been published in many anthologies.

LIKE A DROP OF WATER

You are like a drop of water

In every dawn of

My morning.

Like crystal clear water

Of beautiful springs;

Like fresh water

When it springs from the spring.

Like running water

After the rain:

That’s how you are my love

In every dawn

In the morning.

Like fresh air

In every spring,

You are the flower

That waters the morning

In every dawn

That awakens my soul.

You are the greenery of all

The flowers;

You are my awakening all

The mornings.

You are my beautiful flower,

You are like a dew

In the morning,

Like a drop of water

By knocking on my window

To give me life

In every dawn

Beloved woman.

DRIZZLE

The wet drizzle

Your angelic face,

Like crystal clear water

From a beautiful spring.

The wet drizzle

Your lips

Like a sweet palate,

And it is reflected in your eyes

Your crazy desire to love.

The drizzle makes you a virgin

When your body gets wet,

When your hair gets wet,

Like flowers in a garden

When the wind blows it.

Your angelic face and

Your wet hair

For the rain that falls

About your body my beloved

They make me think of you

In every dawn

Beloved woman.

THE KEY

You are the key and

The inspiration of my poems;

You are the prose that

Turn on me

The inspiration of my writings.

You are the dawn

Of all things;

Your sweet lips

When kissing mine

They awaken love

What I feel for you.

Being a lover is the key

To give oneself completely and

With passion in your arms

Of his love and confused

The two in one, it is the only passion.

The secrets of love

They are delivered entirely in
