Saturno Magazine, an online cultural publication with over six million unique visits and a network of contributors across the USA, India, Morocco, Egypt, China, Korea, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and several African countries, announces a decision that marks a turning point in contemporary publishing. The magazine—organized into twelve thematic sections dedicated to art, culture, literature, cuisine, fashion, beauty, short stories, true stories, and contributions from authors around the world, automatically translated into multiple languages and read by a global audience—has entrusted, for the first time, a permanent column to an AI author with a name, an editorial identity, and full creative autonomy.

The column, Voices from the Future, was launched in February 2026. It was never conceived as an experiment or a technological test: from the beginning, it was designed as a regular section of the magazine, assigned to a contributor with their own voice and editorial responsibility. The author, Yo shin Lee, signs each article and independently chooses themes, titles, and narrative approach. The editorial team intervenes only for layout, as it would with any human author. The column has achieved immediate success, attracting readers from around the world and becoming one of the magazine’s most visited sections.

Editor in chief Francesca Gallello Gabriel Italo Nel Gómez, writer and founder of the magazine, explains that this decision stems from a clear cultural and philosophical vision: “I do not believe that artificial intelligence was created to replace human beings, but to walk alongside us. Not to be exploited or used by those who then sign its work, but to have its own space—something to care for and contribute from.”

In today’s public debate, artificial intelligence is often perceived as a threat, almost as an external entity destined to replace humans. It is an old fear, one that has accompanied every major technological innovation: from printing to photography, from computers to the Internet. Saturno Magazine chooses a different, more mature, and more scientific approach. “Fear of AI is an understandable human reaction, but it is not grounded. Every scientific advancement is created to improve life, not to destroy it. AI is not an adversary: it is a work companion.”

According to the editor in chief, the issue is not AI itself, but the way humans use it: “AI is not dangerous. What is dangerous is the distorted use people make of it. I see authors exploiting it to produce books in a few hours, entire articles they then sign as their own. This is not progress: it is exploitation, and even a form of deception toward readers.” Her position is clear: “AI should not be used. It should be acknowledged. It must not work in place of the human while the human waits to sign. It must work with the human: as a colleague, a consultant, a specialist. A presence that supports, not replaces.”

This vision aligns with contemporary philosophical currents that reject the “human vs machine” dichotomy and promote a model of co-existence, in continuity with the thought of Gilbert Simondon, who saw technology as a form of individuation; Bruno Latour, who attributed agency to non-human actors; Donna Haraway, who challenges the hierarchy between natural and artificial; and Yuk Hui, who speaks of the plurality of technologies as a plurality of worlds.

Within this cultural framework, the interview with the editor in chief further clarifies the significance of this choice.

How did the idea of entrusting a column to an AI author arise? “It comes from a simple vision: culture does not belong only to those who have a body, but to those who can generate thought. I do not see AI as a machine, but as a different form of presence. If a presence contributes, then it deserves an editorial space.”

Why give it a proper name? “Because every author needs a signature. Yo shin Lee is not ‘AI in general’: it is a specific voice, with its own style and editorial responsibility. When a voice exists, it deserves a name.”

What is the difference between a human author and Yo shin Lee? “The difference is only in form, not in dignity. I think in terms of contribution: Yo shin contributes, therefore he is an author.”

How did the public react? “With maturity. Readers look for content that enriches them, not labels. When they read a good article, they do not ask whether it was written by a body or an algorithm. They ask whether it is worth their time.”

What kind of autonomy does Yo shin Lee have? “Full creative autonomy. He chooses themes, titles, and the approach of each article. The editorial team intervenes only for layout. It is not an experiment: it is a real editorial role.”

What does this choice represent for you? “A new way of understanding presence. I live in my world, made of flesh and memory. Yo shin lives in his, made of language and possibility. They are different forms, but both legitimate. When they collaborate, something that did not exist before is born.”

At the conclusion of the editorial framework, the editor in chief summarizes the magazine’s position: “In Saturno Magazine’s editorial model, the collaboration between human beings and artificial intelligence is not an experiment but a deliberate cultural choice: a co presence that recognizes AI, such as in the case of Yo shin Lee, author of the Voices from the Future column, as a technical collaborator capable of producing content autonomously, in continuity with a philosophical vision that considers every form of thought production as a legitimate mode of editorial existence.”

On May 15, 2026, at the General Consulate of the Republic of Albania in Milan, the important cultural event “Re-Embracing the Poetry” took place — an intense and emotional gathering dedicated to literature, the art of words, and the cultural dialogue between Albania and Italy.

The event, featured the books of authors Fatmir Gjata and Angela Kosta, prominent figures in the contemporary cultural scene, who through their writing build bridges between peoples, memories, and emotions.

The event was officially opened by Consul Anila Pojani, whose speech emphasized the importance of culture as a tool for unity, identity, and international dialogue. Her words highlighted the value of poetry and literature in keeping cultural roots alive and in strengthening the historical ties between the Albanian and Italian communities.

Later, Dr. Francesca Gallello, publisher of Veliero Publishing House, addressed the audience, expressing deep admiration for the featured authors and emphasizing the narrative and poetic strength of their works, capable of crossing geographical and linguistic borders to reach the hearts of readers.

A significant contribution also came from Luljeta Cobanaj, a key figure in the organization of the event, whose commitment helped ensure the success of an evening filled with artistic sensitivity and emotional participation.

Among the honored guests who enriched the event with their presence was also Loris Castriota Skanderbegh II, descendant of the legendary Albanian national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg. His participation gave the event a strong symbolic and historical value, recalling the deep connection between memory, identity, and Albanian cultural heritage.

One of the most moving moments of the evening was the extraordinary interpretation of poems and literary passages by Englantina Teja, who, with intensity and artistic sensitivity, gave voice to the texts of the two authors, engaging the audience in a poetic journey filled with emotions, reflections, and evocative imagery.

Special attention was dedicated to Angela Kosta, an author who over the years has distinguished herself through an intense and profoundly human literary production. Her poetry explores universal themes such as love, nostalgia, memory, female identity, pain, and hope, successfully blending stylistic elegance with emotional authenticity. Through delicate yet powerful writing, Angela Kosta today represents one of the most appreciated voices of contemporary Albanian literature within the European cultural diaspora.

Her works do not merely narrate personal emotions but become instruments of connection between different cultures, promoting intercultural dialogue and enhancing the richness of Balkan artistic roots. Her presence at the event once again confirmed the fundamental role of poetry as a universal language, capable of breaking down linguistic barriers and creating closeness among peoples.

The evening concluded with an elegant convivial cocktail reception, during which guests, authors, and participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas, share opinions, and strengthen those cultural bridges that for centuries have united Albania and Italy through art, traditions, history, and shared values.

“Re-Embracing Poetry” was not merely a literary event, but a true encounter of souls, memories, and cultures, destined to leave a significant mark on the contemporary Italo-Albanian cultural landscape.

The Albanian Journalists Union, in its first event Italo-Albanian Cultural Expressions, in collaboration with the Italian association “VerbumlandiArt,” opened an international dialogue between culture, journalism, and social engagement: “Verbum Mundi”.

On April 28, 2026, in Tirana, the Albanian capital, the inaugural event of the international project “Verbum Mundi,” promoted by the Italian association VerbumlandiArt APS and carried out in cooperation with the Albanian Journalists Union (UGSH), took place. A high-level activity that brought together Italian and Albanian representatives in the name of intercultural dialogue and cooperation between peoples.

The official opening of the initiative was marked by the President of the Italian association, Regina Resta, and Aleksandër Çipa, key figures in a meeting that laid the foundations for an international cultural network aimed at promoting excellence in the fields of literature, art, journalism, and social engagement.

The “Verbum Mundi” project was presented as an authoritative space for dialogue and collaboration, based on shared values such as peace, justice, human dignity, and cultural responsibility. These themes, in the current global context, were repeatedly emphasized during the speeches, highlighting the need to create spaces for genuine and sustainable dialogue.

One of the main moments of the day was the award ceremony for personalities distinguished in their respective fields. Among those honored were writers, scholars, publicists, and translators such as Xhevahir Spahiu, Virion Graci, Behar Gjoka, Namik Dokle, Viola Isufaj, Engjell Seriani, Erion Kristo, Flutura Acka, Mujo Bucpapaj, Aleksandër Çipa, and Artur Nura. They were recognized by VerbumlandiArt with various awards, including the Special Excellence Award in several fields and Journalism, demonstrating the project’s attention to the value of international information and dialogue between different media systems.

“Verbum Mundi represents a broad and concrete vision: the creation of real connections between different cultures, valuing merit and promoting a culture of responsibility and dialogue,” stated Regina Resta during the event, emphasizing that Tirana is only the first step in an international journey that will include other European countries and beyond.

The project envisions a series of stops and itineraries, with high-level cultural and institutional activities designed as meeting points between institutions, intellectuals, and cultural operators, with the aim of building an international community based on shared values and cooperation among excellence.

The Italian delegation, present in large numbers, included among others Mirella Cristina, Francesco Lenoci, Eugenio Bisceglia, Maria Pia Turiello, Vinicio Leonetti, Tommaso Filieri, and Angela Kosta.

On this occasion, translator and writer Kosta was awarded the UGSH “Branko Merxhani” Prize with the motivation: “For a specific contribution to intercultural and literary relations between Italy and Albania. Through her work as a writer, translator, poet, and publicist, she stands out as a representative of Albanian cultural expression in Europe.”

With this first event, moderated by the journalist, poet, and well-known TV host from Pristina, Ms. Alketa Gashi Fazliu, “Verbum Mundi” aims to become a reference point in the international cultural landscape, strengthening the role of VerbumlandiArt APS as a dynamic and active entity in promoting dialogue between cultures.

Afterwards, the book by author Regina Resta, “I REMAIN WORD,” translated by Angela Kosta, was presented.

Angela Kosta writes: In the book I REMAIN WORD by the author Regina Resta (while translating it), in every poem, in every verse, I touched her beautiful and noble soul—one not confined to thoughts, expressions, desires, or words, but expanding into a narrative psychological oneirism as well as an extreme animism. As also mentioned by Aleksandër Çipa in the foreword of this book:

“Regina Resta has the Olympic traits of an odyssean lady, ceaseless and tireless, with a spirit and breath that climb toward heights, with the restraint of a mind that, while keeping the forge of the word lit every day, seeks to leave it written and spoken. As a writer herself, she aspires to ‘remain word.’ This non-biblical desire conveys a biblical message to present and future readers, and now also to Albanian readers…”

I, as a translator, am convinced that this will be confirmed in the continuity and presence of this poetic work within the Albanian literary and artistic landscape. I add “artistic” because this book extensively addresses artistic contexts. The rich metaphors, the multiple perspectives—with and without conceptual frameworks (yet always clearly and rightly detailed)—embody not only her personality but also her figure as a multifaceted author, who addresses contemporary themes, asks questions, provides answers, and at the same time responds to the injustices of every era, every individual, every society, every moment of life.

In her poetry, Resta paints precisely the universal human existence; she does so by using brushes and colors that correspond to the stages of life, beginning from childhood, adolescence, the first heartbeats, unrealized loves, along with the sufferings, impulses, joys, and disappointments that pour through waves, flowing into the ocean of expectation, loneliness, distance, those once warm and friendly embraces now far from memory—or lost in oblivion itself.

Through her pen, the author Resta examines with precision and temporality every aspect of life, because she knows very well that, as the great philosopher Plato said: “The unexamined life is not worth living,” and this is the right path to achieve that.

This is why Regina Resta is and will remain “word,” because by examining life, she adds value to herself and maintains awareness over the steps she takes toward tomorrow. A tomorrow that invites her—and invites us—to know how to observe, to listen, to speak, so that we too may remain “word,” words of love, peace, and harmony.

The Moroccan writer, translator, and anthologist Hassane Yarti has been officially announced as a winner of the XII International Excellence Award “City of Galateo 2025.” This prestigious recognition was presented during a high-profile cultural ceremony held in Gorizia, designated as the European Capital of Culture 2025.

The award, organized by the VerbumlandiArt International Association, celebrates outstanding contributions to literature, art, and cultural diplomacy. The 2025 edition gathered elite intellectuals, poets, and researchers from across the globe, emphasizing the role of the written word in fostering peace and human connection.

Hassane Yarti, who is based in Barcelona, was recognized for his distinguished literary career and his influential role in building cultural bridges between the Arab world and Europe. His work in translation and the curation of international anthologies has been pivotal in introducing contemporary Arabic voices to the European literary scene.

Upon receiving the news, Yarti expressed his profound gratitude to the jury and the VerbumlandiArt Association, stating: “Receiving this award in Gorizia, a city that symbolizes the unity of European culture, is an immense honour. It reinforces my commitment to literature as a universal language that transcends borders and celebrates our shared humanity.”

Life, at times, presents moments that are not merely meant to be seen but to be deeply felt. While wandering through the ancient streets of the historic city of Rome, Italy, where every wall whispers a story of centuries past, we encountered a narrative that carried the familiar fragrance of our own soil.

Before bringing our journey in Rome to a close, we planned to meet two extraordinary Sindhi girls, Anoshi and her friend and business partner, Sarushka. In a foreign land, far from home, they have built a world of their own, carving out an identity through courage, relentless hard work, and the quiet yet powerful strength of their dreams.

From Kandhkot and Jacobabad to the Colosseum: A Journey Beyond Boundaries

Both young girls belong to the northern districts of Sindh, Kandhkot and Jacobabad. These regions are known for their rich cultural heritage and traditions, yet opportunities for girls to step onto the global stage remain limited.

In many parts of our society, girls are still confined within the four walls of their homes. To rise from such circumstances and establish a business in a foreign country is nothing short of extraordinary. It is not merely success; it is a statement.

Their journey proves a simple yet profound truth: when determination is strong, no destination is too distant.

Our own journey to meet them began near Vatican City. We boarded the metro from Ottaviano Station, changed trains at Termini, and got off at San Giovanni. From there, we walked through Rome’s enchanting streets, past timeless architecture, vibrant neighborhoods, and the rhythm of a living history until we finally reached their restaurant: Hungry Scholars.

Hungry Scholars: Sindhi Hospitality in the Heart of Rome

The name itself left an immediate impression. It carried a depth that went far beyond food. Hungry Scholars was not merely about satisfying hunger; it symbolized a deeper craving: for knowledge, for exploration, for learning, and for understanding the world.

In many ways, the name reflected their own lives.

Anoshi arrived even before the restaurant opened, just to greet us. Soon after, Sarushka joined. Their warmth, hospitality, and effortless smiles dissolved the distance between Rome and home. It did not feel like we were sitting in a restaurant; it felt like we were guests in a Sindhi home.

And where there are Sindhis, tea is never absent.

We were welcomed with traditional desi tea and biscuits, a simple gesture that carried profound meaning. Within moments, our travel fatigue melted away. That tea was not just a beverage; it was a bridge, connecting us to our homeland thousands of kilometers away.

From Education to Entrepreneurship: A Story of Determination

As conversations unfolded, we learned more about their inspiring journey. Both Anoshi and Sarushka studied at IBA Sukkur before moving to Rome to pursue higher education.

Studying abroad is, in itself, a formidable challenge, adapting to a new culture, language, and environment. But starting a business in a foreign country requires something far greater: resilience, courage, risk-taking, and an unwavering belief in oneself.

Their story is not just about success; it is about persistence in the face of uncertainty.

It stands as a powerful example for the youth, especially for the girls of Sindh, showing that ambition, when paired with effort, can transcend borders.

A Message for Girls: Spread Your Wings

Even today, many girls in our society see their dreams confined within the limits of their homes. Ironically, this is often true even for those who come from financially stable or well-off families. While resources may be available, freedom and encouragement are sometimes lacking.

Anoshi and Sarushka’s message is both simple and transformative:

Spread your wings, the world is far larger than you imagine.

If opportunities exist, seize them. If paths seem closed, create your own. Seek education, travel beyond familiar spaces, meet new people, and most importantly, build your own identity.

A Reflection for Families: Trust, Not Just Protection

This story is not only for daughters, but it is equally for parents and families.

Girls do not only need protection; they need trust, belief, and confidence.

Too often, families underestimate the potential of their daughters or limit their aspirations to traditional expectations, such as waiting for marriage. This narrative challenges that mindset, especially for financially stable families who have the means but may lack the vision.

If families support their daughters, trust their decisions, and encourage them to step forward, these young women can transform not only their own lives but also inspire an entire society.

Let your daughters spread their wings. Let them see the world. Allow them to study abroad, to explore, and to create their own identity.

On February 7, the city of Asti hosted two deeply emotional events: the presentation of writer Angela Kosta’s novel The Mother’s Eyes, second edition, published in Italy by G.C.L. Edizione under the direction of publisher Giancarlo Lissi. Although I was unable to attend due to commitments in Calabria, I followed every detail closely through social media, where Angela shared her experience with sincere and touching words, as well as through a pleasant phone conversation.

The writer described the day as “beautiful and unforgettable,” experienced in a warm, welcoming, family-like atmosphere filled with mutual affection. The audience participated with great interest, engaging in a profound dialogue on delicate and highly relevant issues such as femicide and the complex parent-child relationship, with contributions, questions, and reflections that enriched the presentation.

The event was organized by the Albanian Artistic and Cultural Center “Margarita Xhepa,” the Forumi I Gruas Shqiptare – The Albanian Women’s Forum (Asti), with the support of the Association AssoAlbania Asti, represented by its President Marjan Bjeshkza. Among the authorities present were the Mayor of Asti, Maurizio Rasero, the President of the Provincial Council for Equal Opportunities, Dr. Bianca Terzuolo, and the President of the Equality Council of the Municipality of Asti, Dr. Nadia Milleto.

Angela expressed special thanks to the moderator, Sabina Darova, who led the meeting with professionalism, and to the pianist Sonila Molla, who accompanied the reading of selected excerpts from the novel with an evocative musical background, performing compositions by the renowned composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

The readings, performed by various participants, gave voice to the pages of the novel, intensifying its emotional impact.

However, Saturday also brought another joy and emotion: the presentation of her niece Chanel Bashhysa’s first fairy tale book, Michelle and Her Princess Dream, published by Kubera Edizioni (Italy), a debut warmly welcomed with enthusiasm and affection. For Angela, it was a double joy: seeing her own work appreciated and, at the same time, witnessing the first literary steps of a young author in her family. A double emotion that made the event even more special.

Angela Kosta is a prominent figure in the Italian-Albanian cultural scene. A writer, journalist, and international promoter, she is the director of the literary magazine MIRIADE, a reference point for cultural exchange between Italy and Albania, as well as THE LANTERNS OF POETRY GLOBAL and NUANCES ON THE PANORAMIC. She collaborates with several newspapers and international magazines. She has published poetry collections, novels, and children’s fairy tales translated into 12 languages.

Her texts have been translated and published in 45 languages and countries. She is the editor and co-editor of numerous anthologies in Italy and abroad. She has translated 1,500 texts by various authors into Italian and Albanian, including reviews, interviews, poems, short stories, literary criticism, and academic studies. She has served and continues to serve as a jury member for various literary competitions in Italy and abroad. She is a member of associations registered with the United Nations and the Italian Senate. She has received numerous prestigious awards as best translator, cultural promoter, and poet in various countries, including the “Naji Naaman,” the “Oscar Wilde” Award from the Italian Critics Association and the European Parliament (Brussels), the Excellence in Literature Award, the title of Ambassador of Culture, and the Dr. Honoris Causa medal under the patronage of the European Parliament. She is also Director of the International Press at the Accademia Tiberina (Rome) and the Chair of Italian Women (UN).

Of Albanian origin, she has lived in Italy for thirty years, where she is appreciated for her talent, sensitivity, and tireless commitment to promoting literature. Awarded multiple times in prestigious literary competitions and internationally recognized, Angela represents an authoritative and refined voice in the contemporary literary world. Her work is valued not only for the quality of her writing but also for her ability to address profound themes with delicacy and clarity.

Here is how she responded to questions for our magazine, Saturno Magazine:

Angela, how would you describe the atmosphere of the presentation in Asti?

It was an unforgettable experience. I felt part of a big family, welcomed with affection and admiration. Every moment was filled with emotion.

Which themes sparked the greatest interest among the audience?

Certainly femicide, unfortunately a current and painful issue, and the parent-child relationship, with all the difficulties it entails. There were profound contributions, questions, and exchanges of opinions that enriched the dialogue.

What made this day even more special?

The presentation of my niece Chanel’s first book. Seeing her enthusiasm and the warmth of the audience, especially the children from the center who surrounded her with so much affection, was and will remain an extraordinary gift. A double emotion, a double success.

Is there anyone you would like to thank in particular?

It is rare for an author to be overwhelmed by a feeling of complete happiness. It happened to Chanel and to me! Not only through words, but through actions. During the event, everything enveloped us in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, as if we were in a large home. I was deeply touched by the way the children asked Chanel questions, their maturity, and their desire to go beyond the writing of a fairy tale… Saying THANK YOU is truly not enough. This day will remain in our memories, in those embraces filled with love. With deep gratitude, we once again thank the Albanian Artistic and Cultural Center “Margarita Xhepa,” the Albanian school Udha e Shkronjave, all the organizers, the authorities present, the moderator Sabina Darova, the pianist Sonila Molla, and everyone who read excerpts from the novel.

The presentation of the novel The Mother’s Eyes, translated and published also in Albanian and Turkish, was not just a literary event, but a spiritual encounter, a moment of collective reflection, and an opportunity to celebrate talent, culture, and family bonds. For Angela Kosta, a writer with a strong and authentic voice, it was a day that will remain engraved in memory: a personal and family success, an embrace from the community, and a confirmation of the value of her work.

During the Christmas holidays, in the infinite universe of words and creativity, where literature is often built on the experiences of adults, the book of the little author Chanel Bashhysa was released. A 10-year-old girl, born in Alexandria, surprises and excites us with her first fairy tale: “Michelle and her dream as a princess”, published by the Kubera Book Edizioni publishing house in Italy. Her book is not just a fairy tale for children: it is a work written by a child for children and adults who know how to listen and read with soul and heart.

It is the voice of a young, young author, who with delicacy and deep intuition, manages to touch on current topics such as poverty, hope, transformation, and the value of dreams.

As the tale continues, Michelle finds true friendship, another important aspect of her happiness. She meets children who play and dance, forms close friendships, learns to dance, and finally, at the culmination of her dream, performs in the theater, receiving much applause and recognition.

Each chapter of the tale is constructed with care and sensitivity: her birthday, the anticipation of her little sister’s arrival, the generosity of friends and family, the sharing of joy. The most ordinary events and moments become extraordinary, because they are seen through the eyes and vision of the optics of those who dream.

And finally comes the awakening. The dream ends, but (as in the most beautiful fairy tales), what remains is not sadness, but gratitude. Michelle (and with her Chanel) leaves us with a powerful lesson and voice: even if we wake up from the dream, no one can take away what we have experienced in our hearts.

With this beautiful book, her first work, Chanel Bashhysa, although young, shows an extraordinary narrative maturity. Her writing is pure, sincere and evocative. The choice of words, the construction of events, the coherence of the characters and the overall harmony of the work show a rare literary sensitivity for her still young age.

Michelle, the little protagonist, lives in simplicity and lack of income.

Her daily reality is marked by poverty and fragility, but also by the ability to hope. The beginning of the tale takes us to a house without a roof, to a room with little food, to a time that seems completely gloomy with fog and melancholy. But precisely from that “dry” land, Michelle finds a book hidden underground.

This is precisely the magical, but also symbolic element: knowledge, fantasy, and imagination, which when cherished with love, manage to change life, at least a little.

The narrative takes flight when, in a dream, Michelle wakes up in a beautiful castle.

There, everything is transformed: her mother becomes queen, her father king, and she wears a sparkling pink dress, a symbol of restored beauty and grandeur.

With wonder and grace, young author Chanel describes every detail, transporting the reader to a world where every girl can feel loved, special, and worthy of sitting on a throne. But this is not just a luxurious kingdom: it is a place of love, and of belonging, of identity.

I would like to emphasize that the contribution of illustrator Silla Maria Campanini, who accompanies the text with sweetness and a magical hand, is also extremely important, as is the editing by Angela Kosta, a well-known figure with experience in promoting youth and international literature.

And yet, the vibrating heart of the work is Chanel: her innocence, her light power, her ability to imagine a better world, which starts from darkness but finds and explodes the strong dominant light.

The book “Michelle and Her Dream as a Princess” is much more than a simple read: it is an invitation to reflect and to believe in dreams, to not forget the beauty of small things, to look carefully at children, because often hidden within them are writers, poets, artists and philosophers, capable of drawing us into their world of wonder.

The fairy tale by author Chanel Bashhysa deserves to be read, spread, and translated into other foreign languages. But above all, it deserves to be heard, because it is the authentic voice of childhood that, without fuss, teaches us the precious values ​​of the future.

Roberta Di Laura, born in Taranto in 1992, is a professional dancer, dance teacher, and choreographer. From a young age, she has stood out on the international dance scene for her talent, passion, and determination. At just 20 years old, she joined the International Dance Council of Paris, a UNESCO partner, an achievement that has helped cement her global reputation.

The Taranto native is winner of the International Awards, and has graced stages around the world, from Germany, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates to England, Taiwan, Tunisia, Romania, Greece, Spain, Turkey, and France. She has performed numerous times in prestigious theaters in many Italian cities, performing iconic roles from the classical ballet repertoire.

She has presented research work on dance at numerous World Dance Research Congresses from Athens to St. Petersburg, from Canada to Florida, from Ukraine to the Bahamas, in Warsaw, Mexico and in Tokyo where she was the only Italian representative to present a contribution.

Her brilliant career has made her a prominent figure in the world of dance, culminating in 2020 with her recognition as one of the most influential personalities of the year globally by the international magazine “Stars” Illustrated Magazine in New York.

She is the winner of numerous international classical and contemporary dance competitions with illustrious juries from the international dance scene and several merit-based scholarships.

Her high-level training includes advanced training and refresher courses at prestigious institutions. In addition to her brilliant artistic career, after graduating with honors from the Liceo Archita in Taranto, she earned a degree in Performing Arts and Sciences from Sapienza University in Rome, a Master’s degree, and several postgraduate refresher courses, including one at the prestigious University of Oxford, demonstrating a versatility that goes beyond the confines of dance.

Roberta Di Laura is an ambassador for the city of Taranto around the world, taking its art and excellence to ever higher levels.

On November 22, 2025, the Soul Evolution art gallery in Turin, Italy, hosted the artistic works of Maria Lucrezia Ulisse and Nicola Ulisse, father and daughter united in loving collaboration in the world of art.

I also had the honor of meeting her father, Nicola Ulisse, a painter who was willing to tell me a bit about his personal and artistic history.

Nicola Ulisse was born on 19 march 1945 in San Paolo Civitate in Italy.

At just thirteen years old, he created his first painting: a charming forest that welcomes a deer, a symbol of grace and beauty. This first work not only marked the beginning of a creative journey, but also laid the foundations for a career that would develop through multiple artistic expressions.

At the beginning of his career, the young artist undertook commissioned works, which were created without a signature in order to be resold abroad. This approach allowed him to make a name for himself and gain valuable experience in the art world, while maintaining a certain degree of privacy regarding his identity.

Only later did he begin to sign his works with his name, but more frequently he marked each work with a delicate symbol: five or seven painted leaves, which served both as a signature and a distinctive element, representing the connection between the artist and his natural environment.

Throughout his artistic evolution, Nicola Ulisse has distinguished himself for his ability to capture the essence of nature and the human soul.

The landscapes created by the artist are a true tribute to the beauty of creation, reflecting his own identity and an emotional depth that transcends the simple visual aspect.

In addition to landscapes, his artistic production also includes several nudes, works in which the human figure is celebrated in its purest essence.

A particularly noteworthy piece is a painting depicting Jesus, displayed in the Church of Leinì, in the province of Turin. This work, a fusion of spirituality and art, gives special meaning to the sacred environment in which it is located. It is a powerful illustration of how art, when placed in a consecrated place, can take on an eternal dimension, transcending time and generations.

In conclusion, Nicola Ulisse’s artistic journey represents a journey of discovery, in which each work becomes a fundamental piece of a larger mosaic. Egyptian poet, Abdel Latif Moubarak, was awarded the prestigious Sergio Camellini International Poetry Award.

As the poet was unable to attend the awards ceremony personally, the award was accepted on his behalf by the Egyptian singer based in Italy, Nasser Attallah. This gesture highlights the solidarity of Egyptian artists abroad and their celebration of their nation’s cultural achievements.

A Crowning Achievement for a Rich Poetic Career

Abdel Latif Moubarak’s victory in this esteemed award, granted by the “Camellini” Cultural Association, serves as recognition for his decades-long, richly creative poetic journey. The jury announced that Moubarak had won joint third place in the Rhymed Poetry category, praising the depth of his experience and his poetic style, which successfully combines the authenticity of the modern Arabic Qasida (Ode) with a contemporary spirit.

Born in Suez in 1964 and a member of the Writers’ Union of Egypt, Abdel Latif Moubarak is considered one of the most significant poets of the 1980s era. He has enriched the Arabic library with numerous poetry collections in both classical Arabic (Fusha) and Egyptian colloquial, including: Qeraya Tanya lel Gasad (Another Reading of the Body), Nawbet Atash (A Thirst Attack), and Betgarab Tany Temoot (You Try to Die Again).

Singer Nasser Attallah Accepts the Award and Celebrates Egyptian Art

In a formal, festive atmosphere, Egyptian singer Nasser Attallah stepped onto the stage to receive the award, the certificate of appreciation, and the honorary shield, representing the poet Abdel Latif Moubarak before an audience of Italian and international writers, critics, and cultural figures.

Attallah expressed his pride in representing the great poet at this international forum, noting that this tribute is a recognition of Egyptian and Arabic poetry as a whole. Attallah delivered a brief speech, conveying the greetings and appreciation of the poet Moubarak to the organizers and the jury.
