Being a Naturalist
It is hard
To be a naturalist,
Even when your mind
Is a rooted Eucalyptus.
A mind of wonder
Is hard to grow,
Below the clouds of the
Busy city.
You feel the breath
Of a rabbit
So close
To your ears that listen
To the consolation
Of whistling wind.
A television casts
A natural show,
We clap for the TV show,
But open the gates
Of nature late.
Your suburban tranquility
Tries to hide,
In the concrete jungle.
You only enjoy your horse ride
With the peace, making a pace
Along with every rhythm
Of horse’s journey.
