Incorrect census results will deprive Sindh of its due rights; PTI shelved the Manchhar Lake Rehabilitation Scheme soon after coming into power in 2018

Sehwan: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said on Sunday that the local government (LG) elections in the province will be held before the general elections and that too on the party basis however the PPP government’s endeavor is to get resolved the census issue.

“Sindh had raised the objections on incorrect census results that had shown our population very less. We had taken up this issue at the meeting of Council of Common Interest (CCI) presenting all the evidences and I was the only member who gave a dissent vote against the census result. Again, using the constitutional right, Sindh raised this issue in joint session of Parliament, and has written a letter for summoning the joint session,” he said during media talk at village Ali Hassan Shahani.
