Sushant Thapa, an eminent poet from Nepal, the Himalayan country shares his fresh poem.
Sushant Thapa
Sushant Thapa is a poet from Biratnagar, Nepal who holds a Master’s degree in English literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. He has published three books of poetry namely: The Poetic Burden and Other Poems (New Delhi, 2020), Abstraction and Other Poems (UK, 2021) and Minutes of Merit (Kolkata, 2021). Sushant has been published in several national and international newspapers and magazines. His work has also appeared in national and International anthologies. One of his poems is included in the Paragon English book for Grade 6 students in Nepal. He teaches Business English to students of BBA and BIT at Nepal Business College, Biratnagar, Nepal.

The sun always shines.
The faith is forever stronger.
There are no parting ways
Not without missing the departures.
The emblem of creativity
Is a night sun.
It is the larger sky
Glowing together among stars.
One wish of value
Is a universal river of joy!
One sorrowful tear
Has thousand smiles woven
And remembered.
The stepping stone to the wonderland
Creativity is a personal success
Singing sweet songs
In great tunes of universality.
What a task doer speaks
Is greater than chanted verses.
Creativity is a task doers’ accomplish.
Any awakening that begins with one
Leads and becomes a path for many.
