She is known as Koyal (Cuckoo) of the Kutch for her melodious voice. She sings Kutchi, Gujarati and Sindhi folk songs.    

Geeta Rabari, who is generally called a Geeta Ben or Bhen (Sister) Rabari, belongs to tribal caste situated in Gujarat known as the Maldhari tribe. She was born on December 31, 1996 in Tappar village in Kutch region of Gujarat, to Kanji Bhai Rabari and mother Vinjuben Rabari. Geeta Rabari married to Prithvi, also hailing from Rabari community, on May 9, 2021 as per community traditions. She had two brothers who died prematurely in childhood.

Geeta’s father had got her enrolled at the school after the premature death of his two sons. Geeta Rabari did not study further being very much interested in music, so she thought it appropriate to go into the field of music. People around her loved her voice very much and she developed a passion for music at a very young age.

She got the opportunity to Prime Minister at the parliament house in the year 2019 where she also dedicated him a song. Geeta Rabari says that it was a very priceless moment in her life that the Prime Minister called her. According to Geeta she met Mr. Modi once in her childhood who gave her 250 rupees as a reward for singing performance at a program held in school. 

She is so attached to her family that despite being so famous and having a luxurious house, she resides with her family at Tappar. Geeta Rabari is so sweet and simple, loves to spend time with the animal being a great animal lover. She is also passionate about games and loves to play cricket. She is a car lover and owns two cars Toyota Innova and Swift Dzire.

People donate millions of rupees to Geeta which she spends on orphanage, poor children and charity for the poor.
