O! People

O! People,

Where are you?

What are you thinking and what are you doing?

Leave everything and come hither to me.

O! People,

 Come hither,

I have a story to tell you,

 A story of the earth,

A story of life and death

How wonderful is the story,

The story of mountains and fountains,

The story of dells and dales,

The story of monsoon clouds that wrap the earth,

The story of wind and storm,

Of breeze and blaze

The story of the starry night,

And of the day bright,

The story of the melting weeping glaciers,

And of dense forests and deep valleys,

The story of rivers and oceans,

The story of two hearts diving in emotions

I know the secrets why waves surge, and why volcanoes erupt.

O! People,

You do not heed me,

You are busy in the worldly doings,

You do not listen to the doves cooing,

So then I shall not tell you anything,

I shall hoard all treasure in my chest,

And depart from you with a painful twinge,

I shall tell those will heed to me,

And I shall sing to those who will to me sing.

Italian Version

Oh! Le persone,

Dove sei?

Cosa stai pensando e cosa stai facendo?

Lascia tutto e vieni qui da me.

Oh! Le persone,

 vieni qua,

Oh! Le persone,

Tu non mi presti attenzione,

sei occupato nelle cose mondane,
