Where are the PPP leaders? Where are the police? Why aren’t they taking any action to restore peace and secure the lives of citizens?
Larkana, the divisional headquarter city of Sindh is faced with a number of issues but biggest problem it is facing nowadays is that people are not safe even in their homes. There is no law & order and peace in Larkana, and the crime has increased to such an extent that the citizens are not sure that they, their families and their belongings are secure in their own homes.
This is the life the citizens live in Larkana, the home district of Bhuttos, who had been ruling the country, and their party PPP ruling in Sindh since 2008. Where are the PPP leaders? Where are the police? Why aren’t they taking any action to restore peace and secure the lives of citizens? It’s their responsibility to keep the people safe.
The government, the divisional and district administration and the police and other law enforcing agencies have utterly failed to protect the people. I am not just firing in the air. Here is a recent incident of robbery. In Ayub Colony near Khalid Mehmood madrasa, one of my relatives – Muhammad Ali Memon was sleeping in his home when suddenly 10 armed men barged into his house and robbed gold ornaments and other valuables worth more than Rs.3 million. This is just one example of crime.
By writing this letter I am trying to highlight the situation prevailing in Larkana and reminding the government and other concerned agencies of their responsibility to restore law and order and citizens’ right of having secured life.
So please take action and make Larkana safe for people to live in.
