Sindhi Community House United Kingdom has announced celebrating the foundation day of Sindhi Mandir on December 26, 2022. The celebration will be held from 12 noon to 2p.m.
Sindhi Mandir first opened its doors to the community 35 years ago on 26th December 1987, and moved to Sindhi Community House 25 years ago in 1997.
“Please come and participate in the blissful chanting to celebrate the Foundation Day,” Sindhi Community House, serving the needs of the community, said in an announcement on Sunday.
The program includes devotional melodies by award-winning Renu Gidoomal, supported by Ketan Kanabar. The langar parsad will also be served.
Sindhi Community House further announced that Didi Kamla’s First Year Memorial Prayers will be held on Wednesday 28th December 2022 from 12.00 noon to 2.00pm.
“Our beloved Didi Kamla, who played a significant role of in the Mission in supporting, driving and shaping the Mandir for the last 40 years, passed away in December 2021. The first year Memorial Prayers will be held from 12 noon, commencing with Bhog Ceremony, on 28th December 2022,” it said.
Renu Gidoomal will conduct the service, supported by Ketan Kanabar and others. Langar parsad will be served.
The other regular monthly programs include: Asa Di Var Sundays at 7.30 to 8.30am; Mata Ki Chowki First Saturday of the month at 7pm; Happy Tuesday Family First Tuesday of the month at 12noon; Sukhmani Paath Thursdays at 12.00 to 2.00pm; Satyanarayan Katha Thursday 8th December at 12.00; Swami Teooram Maharaj and Swami Shanti Prakash Satsang Last Saturday of the month at 5.00pm. All events will be followed by Langar Prasad.
