The Academic Council of Sukkur IBA University discussed curriculum development, research projects and reviewed admission policy and approval of sub-campuses in its 12th meeting held here on Wednesday.
The meeting was chaired by the Vice Chancellor Sukkur IBA University, Prof Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh and attended by the pro vice chancellor, heads of teaching departments and all of the academic council members.
The Academic Council resolved all the pending academic matters with unanimously passed resolutions.
The Academic Council discussed various agenda items, including curriculum development, research projects, reviewed admission policy and approval of sub-campuses.
Curriculum development took center stage, revising and updating existing programs to align with industry and HEC’s requirements. Furthermore, the council members proposed several measures and initiatives to foster academic excellence and improve the learning experience at Sukkur IBA University.
The meeting addressed several key issues and outlined future plans to enhance the university’s overall academic environment.
Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh emphasized the importance of quality education and research-driven initiatives. He highlighted the university’s achievements and commended the efforts made by faculty members, staff, and students in maintaining a conducive learning environment.
The Academic Council Meeting concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and commitment to further elevate the academic standards of Sukkur IBA University.
