“The Curse of the Titanic” is written in the context of the tragic incident that occurred in 1912, and continues to cast a haunting shadow over maritime exploration. Since the fateful night of April in 1912, the curse of the Titanic has been a subject of speculation and fascination. Countless theories have emerged, attributing the tragic events surrounding the ship to a curse that continues to haunt maritime exploration. The recent loss of a deep-sea submersible named Titan, dedicated to exploring the Titanic wreck site, met a devastating fate as it suffered a catastrophic implosion, resulting in the loss of all five crew members. These separate incidents, spanning from 1912 to 2023, have some great resemblance.
The Curse of the Titanic
In the depths of the Atlantic Ocean
A curse came into being
In the year of 1912, April’s night
Titanic met tragedy, in an icy site.
A mighty ship, unsinkable they claimed
But fate had a different plan
A ghostly iceberg emerged
A curse that would span.
From that watery grave, whispers arose
Of a curse so strong, its power still shows
Speculations grew, theories took flight
Of a haunting shadow, enveloping maritime light.
Decades turned to century, but the curse remained
Casting its pallor, where ships dared to reign
And in 2023, another story unfolded
A deep-sea submersible, Titan, was swallowed.
Dedicated to exploring the Titanic’s grave,
It met a cruel fate, as the curse did behave
With a catastrophic implosion, it met its demise,
Claiming five brave souls, lost to the skies.
The curse of the Titanic, a relentless force
Bound to maritime exploration, its course
As history repeats, a chilling refrain,
It leaves an indelible mark, a haunting stain.
In the depths of the ocean, the shadows persist
Warning those who venture, to beware of the twist
For the curse of the Titanic, with each passing year
Reminds us of dangers, that deep-sea holds near.
So let us remember, those souls lost at sea
Their stories woven, in sea history
And as we explore, with a sense of awe
May we honor their memory, and their spirits, we draw.
