The National Library and Archives (NLA) of United Arab Emirate is illuminating the 55th Cairo International Book Fair, promising a vibrant journey through history, knowledge, and cultural connection.

Held from January 25 to February 6, NLA’s presence at this prestigious event reflects their dedication to enriching societies and fostering international bridges.

NLA’s captivating booth will showcase historical documents and films that unveil the deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Egypt. Witness curated publications that meticulously document the UAE’s rich heritage and dive into engaging presentations on libraries and archiving.

Abdullah Majid Al Ali, Director-General of NLA, emphasizes the significance of their participation in showcasing the UAE’s rich past and vibrant present. “The Cairo Book Fair, one of the oldest in the Arab world, serves as a cornerstone of annual cultural exchange for intellectuals, researchers, and avid readers,” he states. “Our participation extends beyond mere exhibiting. We have planned captivating seminars on libraries and archiving, cultural encounters, entertainment segments, and opportunities to cultivate stronger relationships with Egyptian cultural institutions.”
