Uzbekistan exports 80,000 tons of watermelons

This year’s watermelon export was 13 times greater than the volume of earlier watermelon exports to foreign countries

Uzbekistan exported nearly 80,000 tons of watermelons in the first half of 2023. The export generated a profit of $16.7 million, Podrobno.uz reports.

This watermelon export went to 11 countries. The largest quantities were sent to Kazakhstan, with 35,700 tons, followed by Russia with 29,300 tons, and Kyrgyzstan with 12,600 tons.

Additionally, watermelons were supplied to Belarus with 1,300 tons, Tajikistan with 664 tons, and Mongolia with 143 tons.

Interestingly, this year’s watermelon export was 13 times greater than the earlier volume of watermelon exports to foreign countries.
