Whispers of Lost Desire!

Over the last decade, we are witnessing that our society is plagued by the dark cloud of sexual exploitation in all its horrifying forms

During my time serving in a non-government organization, a contentious issue arose that deeply impacted me. Some members passionately suggested removing the title of “Officer” from all employees, arguing that it had morphed into an arrogant attitude, where those in service started seeing themselves as rulers rather than humble contributors. At first, we stood firm in opposition to their proposal, but as time went on, I witnessed multiple situations, one the recent one which happened at Islamia University of Bhawlapur, I began to sense their wisdom and now, looking back, I can’t help but admit that they were absolutely right.

Living with a nation founded on the principles of justice, compassion, and righteousness, I feel is grappling with an undeniable truth, the duality of human nature. We all know human instinct may hold both good and bad sides, it is a painful reality that some of our so-called intellectuals, promote propaganda but rarely stand for truth. In the name of civilization and independence, we shamelessly are promoting wrongdoing. Over the last decade, we are witnessing that our society is plagued by the dark cloud of sexual exploitation in all its horrifying forms. With the advent of digital media and social platforms, the harrowing truth has become undeniable. Our sacred institutions have become hellish nightmares for innocent boys and girls. This unspeakable evil knows no boundaries, affecting boys in their early years and girls throughout their educational journey, leaving them traumatized and scarred.

Our hearts ache for the underage children who serve in households, their voices silenced and unheard. These innocent souls deserve protection and care, yet they are trapped in a cycle of injustice, their pleas falling on deaf ears. It is a stain on our collective conscience that we have failed to shield them from harm. We look to our judiciary and law enforcement agencies, the pillars of justice in our nation, to rise and deliver the justice these victims so desperately seek. However, we are left disheartened as justice remains elusive, and the hopes invested in them seem futile.

The tears stream down my face as I think of the innocent souls who have endured unimaginable horrors. How can we bear the weight of their suffering while turning a blind eye? As Muslims, our hearts must ache as one, for it is the fire of compassion that fuels our resolve to bring about change. I implore you, let us not be passive observers of this heart-wrenching reality. Our emotions must ignite a passion for action, for we are the guardians of our society’s conscience. We cannot let the flames of outrage die down; instead, we must stoke them into an inferno of righteous indignation.

It is time to restore faith in the pillars of justice and ensure that they serve the people with integrity and impartiality

Any sanctity should never shield evildoers. Let us remember that true faith advocates for justice and protection of the vulnerable. It is time for our intellectuals to embrace their moral duty and speak out against the atrocities committed in the name of religion. Let us call all those who are paid off by our tax money as servants of citizens but not officers who are born to rule us forcefully.

Let us stand with those brave souls who have suffered silently, let us tell them that your pain is not in vain. Your voices may have been stifled, but your stories echo within our souls. We feel shameful for not protecting you, for not becoming your shield, your strength, and your unwavering support until justice prevails.

Let us stand as a nation with one message to those who are guilty and those who protect them, their days of tyranny are numbered. They might think they can evade the consequences of their actions, but we, the people of Pakistan, will not rest until they face the full force of the law. Your vile deeds will not taint the purity of our nation any longer. I beseech our judiciary and law enforcement agencies to rise with courage and determination. Let us prove that no one is above the law, regardless of their status or influence. It is time to restore faith in the pillars of justice and ensure that they serve the people with integrity and impartiality. Together, we can wipe away the tears of those suffering in silence and pave the way for a Pakistan where justice prevails.
