Russian poet Vadim Terekhin, Continental Coordinator of World Poetry Movement (WPM) has called African poets to submit their poems and artworks for the new poetry anthology “GOLDEN CONTINENT”.
“GOLDEN CONTINENT” is the official publication of the World Poetry Movement (WPM) in Russia, designed to promote humanitarian values, peace, justice and care for planet Earth through poetry and art. The publication will serve the cause of mutual enrichment of Russian and African literatures, helping readers to understand our diversity.
The anthology will be published in partnership with the African Economic Co-operation Association (AECCA). Submissions should reach us by 31 January 2023, sent to this email address (parnasvt@mail.ru).
Original and unpublished poems in any language of the world are welcome. But they must be accompanied by an English or French translation. If selected for publication, the publisher will choose both the original and the translation. Be sure to include the names of the translators for the translation submitted. The Anthology will only publish two or three poems to reach as many authors as possible, with author’s biography of no more than 60 words (preferably in the original language and translated into English or French). E-mail, contact phone number / WhatsApp number are given for the only use to contact poets.

A photograph of the poet participating in the anthology is needed, and they should be sent as separate jpeg or png files. If you are an African artist, it would be delighted if you could submit your work for publication in the anthology. Please also include the title of your painting/artwork and give brief information about it. Your photos should be sent as separate jpeg or png files. Please ensure that the quality of your photo file is of high resolution
Poets and translators own the copyright to their poems and translations. WPM owns copyrights collectively in the form of an anthology. Once published in this journal, individual authors are free to republish their works elsewhere. The publishers are a group of volunteer poets organized in the form of WPM. They do not charge a publication fee, and they also cannot pay authors. The anthology will be published online during 2024 and can be accessed through the official website of the World Poetry Movement (WPM):

Authors are needed to write the subject line of your email, including the following information: [your name,_country,_genre]. Example: Christine Ross, Morocco, poetry.
Poems must be sent as a separate Word document. It should be typed in Times New Roman font, size 12, single spaced. The bio should be placed on the same page as the main text. Do not use a different file for the biography. No correspondence with authors is needed and the publisher reserves the right to choose to publish contributed poems. It is also necessary to indicate in a free form that you authorize the publication of your poems in Russia and sign!
