Minorities Minister Giyan Chand hands over cheques of Rs.50000 to each couple; inaugurates the hall and solar system scheme of over Rs.10 million at Shri Krishna Temple

Hindu Welfare Panchayat organized the mass wedding ceremony of 20 Hindu Community couples at Shri Krishna Temple in Kunari on Sunday February 19, 2023.
Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs Giyan Chand Essarani, Provincial Forest Minister Nawab Taimur Talpar, former Senator Ashok Kumar Ratnani, Pakistan Army Major Khurram of Chhor Cantonment and others attended the mass wedding ceremony.
Speaking at the mass wedding ceremony, Minister Giyan Chand said that Sindh government and Pakistan People’s Party have always taken practical steps to support and protect minorities and this process will continue.
Giyan Chand Essarani said that cheques amounting Rs.50000 have been given to each couple under the Minority Affairs Department and assured that the Sindh government will continue to take measures for the protection and prosperity of minorities.
Earlier, President Hindu Welfare Panchayat Kunri Shashpal Das welcomed the guests and informed about the measures taken by Hindu Welfare Punchayat for the welfare of the Hindu community.
On the occasion Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs Giyan Chand Essarani also inaugurated the hall and solar system scheme of over Rs.10 million at Shri Krishna Temple.
Pehlaj Rai Essrani, Chetan Mal Essarani and Heera Lal Tarwani accompanied the provincial minister. (PR)
