Modern Image of Beauty and its Negative Impact

Beauty is basically a set of standards set by us. It totally depends on individuals for what kind of definition do they need to set for the word beauty.

There is no definition of beauty for me. Beauty is a power that comes from within and pours its effects on others. Beauty is not all about having good looks, perfect complex, perfect height or sweet accent. It is about the internal appearance of the person; how the person sees the world, what are ethics, norms and amazing contents for them in their perspective is what we call the beauty. Beauty is a romantic term used for landscapes, nature, scenes and humans and animals.

Beauty is basically a set of standards set by us. It totally depends on individuals for what kind of definition do they need to set for the word beauty. Eventually, the sets and standards set by the individuals is the standard of society. It depends on us how do we see beauty and how much do we take it on our nerves. The better definition of beauty we have, the better it is for the society. We as the individuals are responsible for what society is. If we take beauty in real terms and meanings then we can make a better world out of it and we will have a better beautiful world to live in.

Unfortunately, we as the individuals have somehow failed to think about the word beauty in real terms. We have taken beauty only in meanings of having good looks, fair complexion, long hair, tall height and what not! But we forgot that beauty lies in the heart of human beings.

Beauty lies in the perspective with which we look upon the things. We forgot that beauty lies in the attitude we have, beauty lies in the ways we do our works, beauty lies in the way we talk and way we behave. We forgot that beauty lies in the etiquettes we show to someone, beauty lies in the way we want to be a true patriot. We forgot that beauty lies in the efforts we make to keep our relations strong. We, unfortunately, forgot that beauty lies in abstract acts and not in the physical appearances or objects. We forgot that beauty is an emotion and not the standard of judgment. We forgot beauty is simple. We, unfortunately, made it complex and complicated for ourselves and for others as well.

We have set so bad standards that it has already made many people of the world insecure and have already destroyed their confidence. We have successfully destroyed them as human beings.

The average looking people are highly insecure about themselves and think that they have no purpose, no meaning and no worth in this world. These average looking people are highly unsatisfied with their lives and with the way they look. They focus more on their looks and outer beauty other than their inner beauty. This eventually leads to be the fake human beings and they just lost their inner beauty. The average looking people are rejected mostly in every field of their life; even it is business or marriages, meetings or partnerships or whatsoever! They are unfortunately being degraded and this leads to their mental destruction and destruction of their inner peace and beauty. Average looking person, when is unable to meet the standards of the society, actually feels degraded, left out, minor and eventually loses all the hopes and in the end is being lost in their own world and cut out themselves with this selfish world and becomes an introvert. The average looking person is completely rejected by the world and is unfortunately not accepted.

As we already discussed that these are the individuals that make up the society. When individuals will devalue the average looking human, it will automatically become the norm and standard of the society to judge people. So, basically, when a human is being judged negatively, it eventually leads that the society to become a society of negative people and spreading negativity and negative vibes become norms. The modern image of beauty leaves the negative impact on how the society sees the average human being.

Only we can change this perspective of our society. We need to teach ourselves and our next generations to raise their moral standards and ethical values. We need to teach them to have a better perspective of looking at things. We need to teach them to have a better way of seeing beauty. We need to teach them to see beauty in all those little things which we have destructed by ourselves. We need to teach ourselves and our generations to prefer inner beauty over the outer beauty and looks.

We need to jump into this scene and make it a better view for ourselves and our next generations. We need to act sensible in this aspect and we need to do our best to make this world a better non-judgmental place to live and breathe in.
