A notorious bandit, carrying Rs.1.5 million head-money surrendered himself to Sukkur police on Saturday.
DIG Sukkur Javed Sonharo Jiskani said that Wazeero Utarani, a most wanted criminal carrying head money of Rs.1.5 million handed over himself to SSP Sukkur Sanghaar Malik.
He said that it’s the result of the ongoing police operation against the dacoits by the Sukkur, Ghotki and Khairpur Police that the most wanted criminals are surrendering themselves to police.
He said that before launching the operation in the Katcha (Riverine) area of Ranvati, Baghirji and other riverine areas in Sukkur, Khairpur and Ghotki, he had announced a policy of providing relief to those dacoits who wanted to surrender themselves to police or otherwise all those criminals will be eliminated who are challenging the writ of the police.
DIG said that ongoing operation in the riverine areas of the Sukkur, Khairpur and Ghotki is giving positive results and added that operation will continue till the elimination of the criminals and safe recovery of the kidnaped persons.
