Sindh Food Authority and Dawat-e-Islami agree to launch awareness drive against adulteration

Karachi, Sindh  

Sindh Food Authority has sought the help of Dawat-e-Islami, an Islamic seminary, to fight against the adulteration food and other eatable commodities by the traders.

In this regard, Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar visited the center of Dawat-e-Islami, Faizan-e-Madina on Sunday. Director, Sindh Food Authority Masood Bhutto also accompanied him.

Office bearers of Dawat-e-Islami Haji Muhammad Amin Attari, Haji Muhammad Yaqoob Attari and Muhammad Hanif Attari welcomed the Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar.

Sindh-Food-Authority-Dawat-Islami-Sindh-Courier-1An official handout said that Sindh Food Authority and Dawat-e-Islami agreed upon to launch awareness drive against adulteration in food items. Both the sides also agreed on joint efforts were needed against adulteration of food and drink items and for that awareness is must in the Society.

In the light of Quran and Hadees, D.G SFA Agha Fakhar requested the office bearers of Dawat-e-Islami to develop awareness against adulteration in its followers, especially the business community, and discuss about the quality of food items, cleanliness and halal foods.

Office bearers of Dawat-e-Islami said that a special broadcast would also be aired on Madani channel to create awareness on adulteration during Holy month of Ramzan.
