However, today’s circumstances paint a different picture. The people of this nation have become puppets in the hands of invisible godfathers.

Globally everyone is facing a multi-faceted crisis – the dirty politics between powerful nations for becoming world leaders is also concerning our lives, with climate change, rapid urbanization, and corrupt public services being among the most pressing issues of today’s era. Compounding these challenges is the corruption that plagues public services, from healthcare to transportation. This corruption undermines the trust in government and erodes the ability of communities to address the issues they face.

The founding of this nation was built on the principles of unity, faith, and discipline, with the slogan “there is no god but Allah” serving as a reminder of the shared values and beliefs of the people. However, today’s circumstances paint a different picture. The people of this nation have become puppets in the hands of invisible godfathers, who are present in every sphere of life, from the rulers to the night watchman.

These godfathers may present themselves as well-wishers, but in reality, they are the source of the unrest and chaos that plagues the nation. No one feels safe, whether traveling to work to pay for the luxurious lifestyles of the elite or praying in mosques to protect the homeland. The people are looted and exploited, sometimes with weapons and sometimes with sweet words.

Is there a future where equality prevails? Will the elected leaders represent the interests of the people instead of their own? Will the powerful respect and empower the powerless? Will the media discuss and sell what is not sold?

It is imperative that we take action to address these crises. This requires a concerted effort from governments, businesses, and individuals. Only by working together can we ensure a sustainable future for all. It is time for the people to take a stand and demand the rights and freedoms promised to them. Only then can the promise of equality be fulfilled.
