Commissioner Sukkur Division holds meeting with officers of concerned departments to review arrangements

Some 914 pilgrims will depart to Saudi Arabia from Sukkur’s Begum Nusrat Bhutto Airport next month to perform Hajj.
Divisional Commissioner Sukkur Ghulam Mustafa Phul chaired a meeting here on Friday at Commissioner Camp Office Sukkur regarding the provision of all facilities to pilgrims, preparations by the concerned departments, security and other measures.
The officials from Haj Directorate, PIA, FIA, Airport Security Force, Begum Nusrat Bhutto Airport Manager, Police, Health and other relevant departments participated in the meeting.
Commissioner said that it was the duty of all concerned government officials to provide all possible facilities to pilgrims. He directed the officers of all departments to further improve the departure system of pilgrims.
According to the code of conduct of the Hajj Directorate, Hajj information seminars, guidelines and other facilities should be planned in advance for the pilgrims in due time, he urged and further said that for the convenience of pilgrims, an awareness group should be created through social media on their mobile phones and all instructions should be given in writing and hundred percent implementation of the instructions given regarding the observance of law in Saudi Arabia.
Commissioner Sukkur Division directed the Director Health to set up a medical camp at the airport before the departure of pilgrims.
Director of Hajj Noor Muhammad Soomro said that a Hajj camp will be established to inform about other important initiatives.
Officials will be appointed to guide the pilgrims when the pilgrims have to reach the Haji camp 02 days before the scheduled time.
