Economic Crisis: Bad governance is the major issue

Our rulers, leaders and politicians are not sincere to the nation; they have bank accounts abroad where they also own the companies while inside the country their attitude towards different regions is discriminatory.

An economic problem generally means the problem of making choice that occurs because of the scarcity of resources. It arises because people have unlimited desires but the means to satisfy those desires are limited at greater level. Therefore, satisfying all human needs seems nearly impossible with limited resources.

Pakistan is one of the developing countries facing the economic problems which are hindering the success and the growth of the country. Consequently, there are many economic problems which are getting worse and overwhelming day by day and if they remained unattended, the conditions might even push the country towards worst situation.

Pakistan is bordered with Afghanistan geographically and was an ally of America in war on terror, therefore it is facing great threats of terrorism. On eastern side, it has rivalry with India and thus a huge part of budget is spent on war on terror and other security measures. War against terrorism had been very important reason behind the economic problem. Other major issues of our country include a poor academic set-up while energy crisis is also critical issue which has affected the growth of the state unfavorably. The load shedding of electricity, rising petroleum and natural gas tariff have also created various problems for the masses who have been left in lurch. We are in the state of mess. Unemployment is nightmare for youth who share major percentage of population and are said to be backbone of any nation. Despite having all the resources in the form of land, manpower, water, oil and minerals we are still at starting point.

Bad governance is the major issue behind this state of affairs. Our rulers and leaders have bank accounts in foreign countries. They have invested in other countries. They own the companies and have shares in such highly developed States. This is the kind of insincerity towards the nation. Moreover, our political leaders have discriminatory attitude towards the state; few regions are highly developed with all facilities while many are utterly neglected. This is creating anarchy and impatience with in state.

The nation needs good leaders to steer the country and its masses out of all these crisis.
