Raindrops, without a doubt, wear a sad expression
Will the distant place, more like a streetlight than midnight’s own streetlight, become our eternal resting place, never decaying or disappearing?
They say that those who lived for a hundred years without an umbrella will become rain a hundred years later, and rain undoubtedly wears a sad expression.
When a white umbrella is unfurled, white rain pours down, and when a black umbrella is unfurled, black rain pours down.
The stories kept in the drawer, soaked in rain, evaporate to become rain again after staining the umbrella.
On the rooftop, if you let the rain fall, there are toy cars that race by without hesitation, maybe for a century or two.
If you gently peel off the water from the car, you feel sorry as if you have opened a botanical encyclopedia. A wet body proves the falling rain.

빗방울은 틀림없이 슬픈 표정으로

자정의 가로등보다 더 가로등 같은 아득히 먼 곳이 우리들의 무덤이 될까. 썩지도 않고 사라지지도 않는 그곳으로 달려가서 우산 없이 백 년을 살다 죽은 사람은 백 년 후에 비가 되어 내린다는데 비는 틀림없이 슬픈 표정으로, 하얀 우산을 펼치면 하얀 비가 쏟아졌다. 검은 우산을 펼치면 검은 비가 쏟아졌다. 비에 젖어 서랍 속에 간직했던 이야기는 우산을 적신 후에 다시 비가 되기 위해 증발한다는데 지붕 위에는 빗물에 적시면 한두 번의 백 년쯤은 거침없이 스쳐 달리는 장난감 자동차가 있다. 자동차에 묻은 물기를 가만히 벗겨내면 식물도감을 펼쳐놓은 것처럼 미안하다. 젖은 몸은 내린 비를 증명한다
