Pakistan’s Petroleum Price Hike seems a ‘renaissance’ of strangulation and starvation

SHOUKAT LOHAR

In a shocking turn of events, the Pakistani Caretaker government has bestowed upon its citizens a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reconnect with nature and embrace an eco-friendly lifestyle. With a jaw-dropping increase of 45 rupees in just a mere 14 days, the price of petroleum has catapulted Pakistan to the forefront of innovative transportation solutions. Move over, cars and motorbikes – it’s time to saddle up on horses, mules, and donkeys!

Who needs modern amenities when you can channel your inner cowboy and gallop your way to work?

The government’s brilliance in implementing this astronomical price hike cannot be overstated. It’s a strategic move that not only encourages citizens to ditch their gas-guzzling vehicles but also paves the way for a resurgence of the equestrian lifestyle. This bold initiative aligns perfectly with the global trend of sustainable and environmentally conscious living. Horse-drawn carriages are set to make a comeback, adding a touch of nostalgia to the urban landscape. Traffic congestion will be a thing of the past, replaced by the soothing clip-clop of hooves on the asphalt. And let’s not forget the camaraderie that will flourish as citizens share tips on grooming, feeding, and maintaining their trusty steeds. Who would have thought that the price hike would foster such a strong sense of community?

We must thank the Government for reconnecting us with Nature

Furthermore, this price surge will undoubtedly spark a cycling renaissance. With petroleum prices soaring higher than a kite, bicycles are suddenly the ultimate status symbol. Those two-wheeled wonders will become the preferred mode of transportation for the chic and environmentally aware. Cyclists can breeze through traffic jams, basking in the glory of their pedal-powered superiority.

But that’s not all – the price hike extends to more than just transportation. The beloved sugar, once a staple of Pakistani cuisine, is now too dear for the average citizen. But fear not, as the government’s ingenious plan to tackle obesity becomes evident. By removing sugar from the equation, Pakistan will undoubtedly lead the charge against excess weight. After all, why indulge in delicious pastries when you can embrace a life of Spartan discipline and nourish your body with nothing but air and determination?

The Pakistani government’s foresight doesn’t end there. By imposing price hikes and fostering scarcity, they’re encouraging a collective retreat from materialism. With flour now out of the equation due to its alleged obesity-causing properties, the nation is primed for a period of culinary enlightenment. Embrace hunger, my fellow citizens, for in this collective fast, we shall find true enlightenment!

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the wisdom of the government’s approach. By making everything dearer, they’ve made citizens dearer to themselves. By pushing the boundaries of affordability, they’ve unleashed a wave of creativity that will reshape lifestyles and reshape the nation’s destiny.

Embrace hunger, my fellow citizens, for in this collective fast, we shall find true enlightenment!

So, to the people of Pakistan, I say this: Embrace the higher prices, relish the austerity, and saddle up on your newfound companions, whether they be horses, mules, or bicycles. The path ahead may be steep, but the journey will be unforgettable. After all, in a world where everything is dear, the dearest things are the ones that truly matter.

I already stated it’s not caretaker its undertaker; they proved it! Why only 300 hundred make it easy access of common masses to rope and bitter syrups that they should end themselves once for all!
