There must be quarterly training conducted for the teacher to upgrade their teaching methodology. It is beyond doubt that quality education and proper teachings are tools to meet the individual standard of life.
One of the essences of education is creativity. Unfortunately, the teaching syllabus and the subject curriculum are lacking practical education. Our students from grade secondary to higher are inducted to the cramming of the subjects. Our teaching method is also traditional in practice. The same old and rotten contents of subjects are taught to the students to cram.
We have training organizations for the teachers and concerned staff but they fail to conduct the training sessions. Private schools are to some extent engaged in preparing the lessons plan and monthly assessment test but they are not properly trained for the subject they teach. There is same old traditional and red tape procedure of screaming the subject to score in the paper. Our teaching is score-oriented for the student so that they may be promoted to the next level.
The subject of creative writing is always ignored even though it is important to teach the learners to develop the novel thinking and reproduce it in their style with appropriate analysis. Without creative approach, we bring out the students as a robot but not the scholastic minds. Researchers are the true learners because they accumulate the knowledge for its better use in the life and the society.
Physical education is less taught in private schools because there are no resources. On the contrary, the government-managed schools and colleges have the long walled built with the spacious area but they lack the concerned person to teach them the importance of physical education.
There is an apparent dearth of quality and meaningful education. It is therefore urged to government to pay attention to the education sector.
