Divisional Inspector General of Police Hyderabad Range, Syed Pir Mohammad Shah has recommended the Sub Inspector (SI) Naik Mohammad Khoso as a best SHO among 12 others on number-1 to the IGP Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon for awards and prizes for recovering the properties and cash worth of 60 million rupees within five months.

SI Naik Mohammad Khoso, who was posted as SHO Hussainabad police station in Hyderabad city on December 27, 2021 to May 27, 2022, also busted an international gang of Afghani hard criminals, such as a gang led by Ali Gul alias Gulalai.

The gang comprising six criminals used to come to big cities of Pakistan in cold season like Karachi, Hyderabad, Lahore, Quetta and Islamabad and returned to Afghanistan after looting the houses of businessmen and other rich people.

Arresting this gang became a big task for Hyderabad police when it held hostage the members of houses of PPP MNA Nawab Ghani Talpur, his brother Noor Ahmed Talpur and SSP Zulfiqar Talpur in Hyderabad in January 2022. This gang became active in Hyderabad city and suddenly the crime rate increased and the increasing ratio of crime became a challenge for the police department.

DIGP Hyderabad Syed Pir Mohammad Shah formed a team under a professional police officer, ex SHO Hussainabad SI Naik Mohammad Khoso and was given a task to identify the gang and arrest them along with recovery of 10 million rupees including cash, gold ornaments and five guns.

SI Khoso and subordinate team, using various techniques, received information, arrested three active members of the gang of Gulalai including Mohammad Ali, Zubair and Gul Khan while gang leader Gulalai managed to escape to Afghanistan. Police recovered cash, gold ornaments and five guns from their possession.

While, another gang comprising 4 robbers also became active in looting of houses in Hyderabad after the gang of Gulalai, and the same police team arrested all the four gang-members and recovered 8 million cash and other valuables.

SI-Naik-Muhammad-Sindh-Courier-1While, in March 20022, the two notorious criminals each having head-money of Rs.1 million –  Aslam alias Charia and Noor Islam alias Three were killed in an encounter with the team headed by SI Naik Mohammad Khoso. In the same month, March 20022, same team arrested bank looters gang of Babul Kumharo and recovered 4 million rupees which were looted from two banks in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, in Kotri town, a gang of criminals looted the house of ex-taluka Nazim, renowned trader Badshah Memon and his brother, and the police arrested and recovered cash and gold ornaments worth 5 million rupees.

Earlier, SI Naik Mohammad Khoso had recovered a renowned businessman of Karachi Latif Surathia who was kidnapped from Karachi in May 2019 and his safe recovery was a challenge for the police department. Gang of dacoits was busted from forests of Khairpur Mirs and Latif Surtahia was recovered safely. Dacoits had demanded 100 million rupees for the release of Latif Surathia at that time but he was recovered by SI Naik Mohammad Khoso safely and the gang was busted. The then IGP Mushtaq Mahar, ex DIGP Amin Yousif Zai and ex SSP CIA Karachi, Irfan Bahadur had recommended the name of sub inspector Naik Mohammad Khoso for presidential award.

On 15 June 2022, Naik Mohammad Khoso was posted as SHO Sehwan police station at the home city of CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah when crime and narcotics increased in Sehwan city. CM Sindh had asked DIGP Hyderabad Syed Pir Mohammad Shah to post a best police officer as SHO Sehwan who can control crime and narcotic in Sehwan city. Following such instructions, DIGP Hyderabad posted SI Naik Mohammad Khoso as SHO Sehwan city.

DIGP Hyderabad Syed Pir Mohammad Shah said that sub inspector Naik Mohammad Khoso is the professional and honest police officer and the fighter against crime. He said that where crime increases, the police department posted him as SHO to control crime. He said that due to the professionalism of Naik Mohammad Khoso and recoveries in cases, he recommended him as best SHO and police officer to IGP Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon for awards and medals.
