Shahnawaz Dhani , the real son of soil who is credited to be first Sindhi pacer in the national squad representing the country in white ball cricket.
The 23 years old, tall, thin and towering personality came up as an emerging talent from Larkana, a city which was previously famous as the land of leaders, is now credited to have produced cricketers also.
Shahnawaz Dhani was born on 5th August 1998 in Larkana. He has come from a very humble background. His father is farmer and the only bread winner of family. Finding the tough situation in his family Shahnawaz also supported his family by joining his father`s profession. But his love and passion for cricket engaged his maximum time playing the game.
It’s matter of fact that his love for cricket paid him. He was at times criticized for selecting that field. On the whole, he got sheer amount of support which is why he is wallowing his present position. Because of less scope and little chances for being selected in national squads, many parents do not want their children to be part of sports. Same was the point of view of his family. The people in Sindh prefer to be part of government jobs. So, he was suggested same to secure his future and help his parents. But Dhani was clear in his mind to be cricketer thus he spent lot of time in cricket and worked much harder than rest of his team mates. Resultantly, he got a chance to play with top class international players in Pakistan Super League (PSL) where he represented Multan Sultan in emerging category. Here, he got platform to manifest his talent and caught the attention of selectors and later he compelled them to select him in national tour of Pakistan against South Africa.
We wish him the best of luck ahead. All the Pakistanis expect him to bowl like Shoib Akhtar and help Pakistan win the series.
