About the Book

I deal with the themes of the woman, mother, wife, and daughter, the Goddess of human suffering, who often silently suffers both verbal and psychological violence – Angela Kosta

In this book ‘The Power of the Apocalypse’, with a preface by Dr. Pier Carlo Lava and published by Kubera editore both on the poems, and also in the prose, – says the author, “I deal with the themes of the woman, mother, wife, daughter, the Goddess of human suffering, who often silently suffers both verbal and psychological violence. In spite of this, she continues and preserves this unspeakable power, of which man is unable to grasp even half of her strength.”

“The woman regenerates life itself in her womb, so she does not shrink from anything,” she added.

Angela says, “Beyond this I express the enchantment of deep love, the wonders of nature, the essence of life; the news about war, the holocaust, the tragedy of the lost at sea and everything that my eyes see and observe carefully, I transform into indomitable reflections.”

“There are also 15 Haiku poems in this book. Haiku which contemplate and complete what I mentioned above.”
