Sindh Education Department’s officers are making fake claims of having paid salaries to 60 percent teachers

Through this letter I want to draw attention of the higher authorities of Sindh government and especially the minister of education and officials of provincial education department that newly recruited teachers are suffering from very bad financial conditions just because of prolonged delay in release of their salaries.

Only few teachers have gotten salary and 90 percent of them are still deprived of salaries since last several months when they were appointed. In certain cases, only one month salary was released to them on April 17 and no reason is given for non-payment of previous salaries or arrears.

Concerned officers have been claiming on Social media that they have paid salaries to more than 60 teachers which is totally wrong.

One thing which I couldn’t understand is that in this present era of technology why our system is too slow? Why don’t they adopt any updated technology to make work easier? One can understand that corruption is involved in what is happening in the education department.

I again request officials concerned and Chief Minister Sindh to take a serious notice and please release salary of all newly recruited teachers.
