In its official statement, WPM declares: “Humanity is burning in the flames of war. The tender bodies of Gaza’s children are bombarded daily.” As poets, “language is our sole instrument to confront this pain,” and poetry must rise up to expose crimes and awaken global conscience.

The World Poetry Movement urges all people of conscience, poets, and creators everywhere to take part and speak out. This global poetic initiative aims to rekindle the spirit of humanity and restore its path toward deep unity, justice, and lasting peace.
