In Memory, Within My Heart
A minute of silence — an echo in the heart,
For those who perished on Victory’s path.
Each soul who gave their life so brave,
Left behind a name that history will save.
Tears in our eyes, pride in our chest,
To honor their memory — this is our quest.
Now springs arrive with peaceful light,
We give thanks each morning, each night.
Those hearts once burned with fearless flame,
They gave their lives in freedom’s name.
Today we breathe ‘neath skies so clear,
This is no dream — the truth is here!
With memory living deep in our soul,
Your spirit in our hearts forever whole.
Schools and gardens, the paths we tread,
Are all the legacy you left ahead!
We bow our heads before your grace,
Like stars eternal, you light this space.
The Day of Remembrance — a cry from the heart,
May you be cherished, in prayers never apart!
