Pakistan and the lost Indus History

It’s a time to break the ice and tick the clocks on revising our original identity

It is a tragedy to accept an imposed identity rather focusing on the original one. It is quite clear Pakistan was never created for the Muslims majority but it was created for the minority of Muslim elite. Whether you call it a garrison state or anything else the truth is that a two-nation theory is a bogus theory well to be honest. It’s not a theory anymore. It was a great deception of pre partition age. To justify the partition they have been imposing Pakistani identity on those who were the pioneer of the civilization, bravery and morality i.e. Indus Valley Civilization.

What happens when one tries to impose new identity by removing the existing one? You can look at the society of America, where women is being treated as commodity, where social relations are just a name and it is filled with the racism.  It’s a graveyard of modesty, honesty and culture. But, was America like it? The answer is no. America under its original identity was the place of honor, honesty and bravery. When you read about the Native Americans you get to know how they used to treat not only their relatives but all the other living beings. It was free from the virus of racism. Today, even after achieving the global hegemony, they lack the moral principles of the socialism.

We are the children of Sindhu. Our bravery is the bravery of Porus, the one who defeated Alexander, not of the invaders like Babar and Muhammad bin Qasim. Our honor is like the honor of Bhagat Singh, not of those who polished the shoes of British. Today, take a survey, ask the primary child about these. He/she didn’t know ABC of Indus and its people. Pakistani society is filled with religious extremists, ethnic extremism, hatred towards their own culture and day by day societal norms are being killed. It is time to advocate how peaceful and loving we were! We were those who used to give the importance of God to our Mehman (Guest). We were those who were undivided. We were the most peaceful civilization ever existed. We were those who became the most important figures in the field of Sufism, music and peaceful collation.

To conclude, here I would like to quote Jiddu Krishnamurti, one of the greatest thinkers of his time. He said “When you call yourself an Indian or a Muslim or a Christian or a European, or anything else, you are being violent. Do you see why it is violent? Because you are separating yourself from the rest of mankind. When you separate yourself by belief, by nationality, by tradition, it breeds violence. So a man who is seeking to understand violence, does not belong to any country, to any religion, to any political party or system; he is not concerned with the total understanding of mankind.”

It’s a time to break the ice and tick the clocks on revising our original identity – The one who treated mother earth as its own mother. If we start to take good measures on educating the Indus identity to our people, I know and hope, one day our society will be free from all kinds of virus.
