State-of-the-art veterinary hospital will be established at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences

Sindh Agriculture University (SAU) Tandojam has planned to establish a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, with support from the Sindh government.
“This initiative aims to provide advanced treatment facilities for local livestock and hands-on training for veterinary students”, Dr. Fateh Marri, Vice Chancellor SAU announced this during the visit of free medical camp set up for the treatment of livestock affected by the rains at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences on Saturday.
Dr. Fateh Marri said that with the support of the Sindh government, work is being initiated on a modern animal hospital in the Faculty, where advanced treatment facilities for livestock will be provided
Dr. Marri said that the new hospital will feature cutting-edge laboratories, fully equipped operation theaters, and modern infrastructure. He stated that the facility will also offer house job opportunities for students and support research and surgical experiments on livestock diseases.
Dr. Marri received a detailed briefing on the camp’s operations from Professor Dr. Ahmed Nawaz Tunio, Chairman of the Surgery Department.
Faculty Dean Dr. Syed Ghayasuddin Shah Rashidi and Professor Dr. Muhammad Bachal Bhutto also shared insights on the faculty’s ongoing projects and the future potential of the veterinary sector. (PR)
