Sindh’s traditional handicrafts put on display in Sukkur
Handicrafts are made by village women who would receive the entire proceeds from the sale of their products

Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) has put on display a number of handicrafts including Ajraks, Rillies, other textile products, fashion apparel, embroidered garments, and hand bags, traditional items made from date palm leaves and wheat straw, hand crafted jewels, wall hanging and key chains.
Consultant of World Bank, Dr. Seema along with Chief Executive Officer SRSO Muhammad Dital Kalhoro inaugurated the display of variety of hand-made products of Sartyoon Sang Crafts at the premises of the SRSO main complex Sukkur on Sunday which pulled large crowds at the first day. The exhibition will continue till end of holy month of Ramdan.
Dr. Seema, visited the stalls and said that this will not only promote traditional handicrafts but also empower rural women artisans.
The handicrafts are made by village women who would receive the entire proceeds from the sale of their products. The SRSO has also offered big discount on the handicrafts.
Manager, Crafts Enterprises and Development Riaz Jalalani, Hafeeza Bozdar, Shazia Larik, Suirya Agha, Niaz Soomro and others were also present.
