International literary competition Altyn Kalemler (Golden Pencils) is held annually in Turkiye

Young poet and laureate of Turkmenistan’s Youth Award, Ismail Mukhammetdurdyev, has won the international literary competition “Altyn Kalemler” (Golden Pencils), which is held annually in Turkiye, Turkmenportal.tm reported.

The award ceremony for the winners of the competition took place on August 26 in the Turkish city of Bursa, the publication “Atavatan Turkmenistan” informed.

Ismail Mukhammetdurdyev’s work titled “First of All – Homeland” was honored with the respective award in the field of poetry.

In total, more than 50 authors from different countries participated in the poetry competition.

The source notes that in 2016, Ismail Mukhammetdurdyev won the Presidential Competition, and in 2017, he became a laureate of the national youth competition for scientific works.
