Kyrgyzstan and Iran to create a common development fund

Kyrgyz Minister discusses with Iranian Ambassador current issues of cooperation in various fields

The two sides also addressed the implementation of previous agreements, particularly the establishment of the Kyrgyz-Iranian Development Fund

The Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Daniyar Amangel’diyev, held negotiations with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Gholam Hossein Yagari, and discussed current issues of cooperation in the fields of trade, agriculture, transportation, and industry, Akchabar.kg reports.

The two parties also addressed the implementation of previous agreements, particularly the establishment of the Kyrgyz-Iranian Development Fund. Preliminary dates for the 13th session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran (IPC) were agreed upon.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their interest in effectively utilizing the existing potential and readiness for further collaborative work and fruitful cooperation.
