Mumbai to Host Launch of ‘Redolence: The Greatest Poems of Sachal Sarmast’
MUMBAI — City-based lovers of literature and Sufi philosophy are set to gather this weekend for the release and discussion of “Redolence: The Greatest Poems of Sachal Sarmast.” The event will take place on Saturday, 1st August, at 4:30 PM.
Organized as an afternoon of readings, cultural dialogue, and literary exploration, the session will center on the mystical legacy of the 18th-century Sufi poet Sachal Sarmast, whose work continues to resonate across generations for its universal themes of love, truth, and human unity.
Prominent academic and historian Dr. Subhadra Anand will attend the event as the Chief Guest.
The program features panel discussions and poetic recitations by authors and poets Susheel Gajwani, Menka Shivdasani, and Gayatri Lakhiani Chawla. The interactive session will be moderated by Barkha Khushalani.
