Dadu police on Monday claimed having arrest six notorious robbers including four in injured condition during encounters in the limits of different police stations of district.
According to SSP Dadu Irfan Ali Samo, first encounter took place between robbers and police party at Fareed Abad link road in the limits of Mehar police station where accused Asad Jhatial was wounded and arrested while two other accused escaped from police party.
Another encounter took place at Mondar Nako where two robbers Ameer and Sajad Jamali were caught in injured condition and weapons were recovered from their possession.
SSP told that 3rd encounter took place at Johi-Bhan link road where accused Mujad Qumbrani was caught injured and a motorcycle was recovered from his possession.
He further said that two notorious robber Majid and Muzaffar Shahani were also arrested in encounter in jurisdiction of B section police station.
SSP said that all injured robbers were referred to taluka hospital for treatment. He said that arrested accused were involved in street crime and more than 50 cases were registered against them at various police stations of Dadu district.
SSP said that at 10 police pickets were re-deployed and vehicles including motorcycles and van were provided to the concerned police stations so as law and order situation could be controlled.
