International Dylan Thomas Day is being celebrated today (May 14) to pay tribute to one of the outstanding poets of the 20th century.
In 2015 the International Dylan Thomas Day was established to celebrate one of the outstanding poets of the 20th century. Every year on May 14 the visionary poet of Wales is remembered with projects ranging from Poetry to Art, from Music to Videos.
In Italy, the city of Turin has distinguished itself over the years as a center for the celebration of DYLAN DAY.
All events created in Turin have been reported in the list of international events of the official English website.
As in the last three years, a major online commemoration has been planned with the creation of the Dylan Day 2022 website which has obtained the patronage of the Metropolitan City of Turin.
The site unites poets, writers, artists, video-makers and musicians from 60 countries on 5 continents: from Ukraine to Turkey, from the United States to Pakistan, from Russia to New Zealand and China.
