According to police, deceased girl’s classmates nominated in FIR have been found innocent; Main accused Mehtab Chadio has confessed committing the crime.
Accused Mehtab had kept the girl for three months in Balochistan on false promise of marrying her; he killed her with the help of an accomplice and threw body in a field.

The local police have arrested the main accused of murder case of 9th class student Nagina Chandio however deceased girl’s father is not satisfied with the investigation and says he would challenge in the court if the police released the classmates of girl, nominated in the FIR.
Roshan Chandio, Headmaster of a Government Primary School, while talking to Sindh Courier said that arrested accused Mehtab Chandio is the main culprit but he has objection on investigation. “The other nominated in FIR, including Nagina’s classmates, are also accomplices of accused Mehtab and if the police would release them, we could challenge it in court,” he said.
Muhammad Roshan Chandio’s daughter Nagina was kidnapped from her village Mohib Ali Junejo and later her dead body with tied hands and feet was found in village Walo Khokhar in the limits of Sita Road police station of Khairpur Nathan Shah Taluka.
Government High school Tagar’s student Nagina Chandio’s case was lodged against seven persons including her three classmates namely Irfan Mallah, Aftab, Sarfarz, Akthar, Sameer, Hussain Mallah and Safiullah Pal by Roshan Chandio for allegedly kidnapping her with intention of committing rape.
Roshan Chandio had alleged in FIR that accused Irfan Mallah wanted to marry with his daughter Nagina and after refusing the proposal, Nagina was kidnapped, raped and murdered by all nominated accused.
While, on Saturday SSP Dadu Irfan Ali Samo told in his press statement that FIR was lodged against seven persons including Nagina’s 3 classmates and two of the accused Irfan and Aftab Mallah were arrested but arrested accused are found innocent and Mehtab Chandio has been declared main accused during investigation of police, who is close relative of deceased student Nagina. Another accused is Shoukat Channa.
SSP said that police has arrested accused Mehtab Chandio from Balochistan province who has confessed during interrogation that he had killed Nagina with the help of his accomplice Shoukat Channa.
SSP said that accused Mehtab Chandio had contacted Nagina on mobile phone and he kept Nagina with false hopes that he would marry her but he did not marry and kept Nagina in Khairpur and Larkana, and then took to Balochistan.
Hesaid that accused Mehtab brought Nagina to Sita after three months but she was not ready to leave him for fear of being killed by her own relatives after which accused Mehtab along with his accomplice Shoukat Channa killed her and threw the body in wheat crops field.
SSP said that police is tracing the accused Shoukat Channa and soon he would be behind the bars.
Meanwhile, Johi police brought accused Mehtab Chandio in the court of second civil judge and judicial magistrate Farman Ali Tagar, who approved three-day remand and handed over the accused to police for investigation.
The SSP’s PRO also released a video of the arrested accused showing him making confession before Investigation Officer SHO Johi police station Noor Mustfa.
Accused Mehtab Chandio confessed that during three months he kept Nagina in false hope and they went to Balochistan and later after spending all money they returned to Sita but Nagina did not agree to go to her home for fear of relatives, and then he killed her with the help of Shoukat Channa.
